This issue’s cover features the stunning work of Kristian Jalonen, an up-and-coming photographer from Stockholm – who is heading our new regular feature ‘I Love Analogue, The Series’, looking at the beautiful work of analogue photographers from all over the globe.
Editor Lyssa Rutherford gets deep and meaningful with Liz Bishop, Founder of Brighton Fashion Week, in a very special and very insightful interview, in our new series looking at creative entrepreneurs in Brighton. Absolute essential reading for anyone on a path seeking to create their own business, with probably some of the best advice we’ve ever heard.
We have big features on artists Seiko Kato, Imbue and Holly Thoburn. We have a May Day’s special highlighting our picks from Brighton’s most important festival month and we also have a gigantic Spring/Summer European music and arts festival preview too, just in time for all this lovely weather we’re having! We also have an awesome 8-page photo shoot set in a derelict church (-come-Brighton’s-newest-most-exciting-arts-venue!), shot by the amazing photographer Nick Caro. All this is jam-packed with our usual other exciting bits and bobs.
Of course we cannot forget to mention our lovely creative comp, where we decided to seek out new members of our creative team by inviting illustrators and artists from all over the world to apply for the position! You’ll see the top entries and winners there. Don’t worry if you missed out on this issue’s comp, we’ll be running it through the remaining two issues we have this year, giving us a whopping nine artists on our team by 2014!
And just to top it off, we’ve gone up in dimensions and in pages! Could we be more excited? Not really! So, to grab your copy now head to http://www.NewsStand.co.uk/prettylitter, and for a taster of what’s in the mag, check out the gallery below! Let us know what you think!!
Much love, the Pretty Litter team.
