Developing from the rhythm and blues scene in North America, this up-tempo sound of the 1970s made way for a movement that had fans spinning on talcum powder, coveting records and traveling the UK in search of all-nighters. This music is Northern Soul and will be playing all day on Sunday 13th October at the Volks nightclub on Brighton seafront.
Taking place on Madeira Drive, the event features DJs including Alfie Linney, Steve Johnson, Kieran Lockyear, Andrew Vella, Linda Seddon, Tracey Shaw, John Browne, Colin Innocenti, Colin Baldock, Simon Bridger, Tony Castle and Jok Evans.
